National YaR Awards
National YaR Awards, then known as HomeLink Awards, was initiated in 2013. The awards celebrate and honour outstanding achievements in the service of the Young at Risk. Till 2017, the awards were only for the best performing Hubs and Nodes of HomeLink Network.
The scope of the awards was broadened with the introduction of several new categories of awards between 2017 and 2019: Personalities of DB YaR Forum, YaR Innovative Programme, YaR Research, YaR Short Film, YaR Life Time Achievement. YaR Children’s Awards, YaR Social Media Award and HomeLink Phoenix Award were added in 2021. YaR Alumni Award was introduced in 2022.
YaR Awards 2023 – the 10th edition of the awards ceremony – took place at Don Bosco Youth Animation Centre, Ennore, Chennai on 21st September 2023.
The tenth edition of the awards – YaR Awards 2023 – is now open for submission of entries. We present to you here the categories and the judgement criteria for each award together with the details and documentation that need to be submitted.
Send your entries, together with all required details and documentation, to your Province YaR Coordinator who is the authorised person to file the nominations from each province. The online form for filing the nominations will be available from 01 June to 30 June, 2023. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 21 September 2023 at Chennai.
