As part of CHILD RIGHTS WEEK, BOSCO, an NGO working with the young at risk conducted an awareness program to sensitize the public about child rights and protection mechanisms on 18th November 2017. Two teams from BOSCO went to Bangalore city railway station and various malls such as Mantri, Orion, Central and Garuda in order to spread awareness. Children performed flash mob in the malls followed by a candle light procession in MG road.Theme of BOSCO’s CHILD RIGHTS WEEK was “Save Children and Save Earth”.Both the teamsaimed at informing the public not only about child rights but also about the importance of preserving the earth/ nature. Pamphlets were distributed to the public and the importance of saving the nature was explained. People welcomed the Candle light procession conducted at MG road by asking queries about the procession.
Team was appreciated by the public and RPF for taking the initiative to enlighten the people about Child rights as well as about the theme“Save earth and save children”
