Consultation on Child Labour & Trafficking at Jaipur, Rajasthan

To contribute to the vision of a child labour free Rajasthan, starting with Child Labour Free Jaipur a one day consultation on ‘Child Labour, Child Bonded Labour and Child Trafficking’ was organized at Jaipur on the 19th September, 2018. The consultation was done under the aegis of Centre for Child Protection Unit, Sardar Patel University, Jaipur and International Justice Mission (IJM).

Father Thomas Koshy, Secretary - DB YaR Forum, Father Thomas Pallithanam, representative of the Salesian congregation at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and Vijayashankar, Narional Coordinator – Juvenile Justice Alliance (JJA) participated in this consultation, shared their experience and gave their valuable inputs to draft the strategic plan to tackle the issue of Child labour, Child Bonded Labour and Child Trafficking in Rajasthan with specific focus in Jaipur.
